Adventure Program Notes:

Zanzibar Holiday programs provides travel within the Island, excursion tours, accommodation (standard hotels/host families), dinner, and breakfast while on the Island. You will cater for your lunch throughout the tours.

Accommodation during most of Mainland Tanzania jungle safaris is in tented camps. If we can't fill a vehicle with your group alone, you may be combined with other people during the program tours and safaris.

Zanzibar-Moshi Travel: Travel between Zanzibar and Moshi is not covered by the fees. Additionally overnight stays in Moshi are only covered for Kilimanjaro climbing.

Kilimanjaro Climbing: Please see the Kilimanjaro program for a list of things you need to bring and what is provided.

Private safaris (with you or your group only) and more luxurious accommodation can be arranged upon request, although it will cost you significantly more.

In addition, during the safari and tours, we will provide you with the following for your trip:

All game parks and other included site entry fees.
All camping and hotel fees.
Shared tents during African safaris; shared standard hotel rooms.
Three meals a day, vegetarian meals offered on request - please see limitation on the Zanzibar Island, and language and culture components;
Beds with mattresses (in camps/tents only), otherwise beddings provided in hotels.
Shower in most places.
Flush toilets (except in rare cases); not available in some parks and camps on Kilimanjaro.

You will need to bring with you:

Sleeping bag (not required for non-safari/kilimanjaro programs) - you can rent one from the safari company
Personal spending money
Tips for the drivers - USD 20 will normally do for one continuous trip.
Towels
Toilet paper Torch/flashlight ;
Mineral water
Insect repellent
Sunscreen
One set of warm clothes for cool safari evenings and several light clothes for hot days
Films for the duration of safari
Bed sheets and blankets if your sleeping bag is not warm enough (safari only)
Pajamas to sleep in.
