You can sign up for a
minimum
of 9 days if you only plan to do the
climb or at least 2 weeks if you plan to combine kilimanjaro
climbing or an
African wildlife safari with Tanzania
volunteer work.
You can also
combine Tanzania Kilimanjaro mountain climbing or with overseas
volunteer
or intership placement in any of our East

Tanzania
Adventure
Holiday
programs provides travel
within Tanzania, excursion tours, accommodation
(standard hotels/host families),
meals (dinner and
breakfast while on the coast trips).
Accommodation
during most of Mainland Tanzania jungle safaris is in tented
camps.
If we can't fill a vehicle with your group alone, you may be
combined with other people during the program tours and
safaris.

Dar es Salaam-Moshi
Travel: Travel between
Dar and Moshi is not covered by the fees. Additionally
overnight
stays in Moshi are only covered for Kilimanjaro climbing.
Kilimanjaro
Climbing:
Please see the Kilimanjaro
program for a list of things you
need to bring and what is provided.
Private safaris (with
you or your group only) and more luxurious accommodation can be
arranged upon request,
although it will cost you significantly more.
In addition, during the safari and tours, we will provide you
with the
following for your trip:
- All
game parks and other included site entry fees.
- All
camping and hotel fees.
- Shared
tents during African safaris; shared standard hotel rooms.
- Three
meals a day, vegetarian meals offered on request - please see
limitation
on the Zanzibar Island, and language
and culture
components;
- Beds
with mattresses (in camps/tents only), otherwise beddings provided
in hotels.
- Shower,
most places.
- Flush
toilets (except in rare cases such as deep in the jungle and on some
camps/huts on Kilimanjaro).
You
will need to bring with you:
- Sleeping
bag
- you can
rent one from the safari company
- Personal
spending money
- Tips
for the drivers - USD 20 minimum for one continuous
trip.
- Towels
- Toilet
paper
Torch/flashlight ;
- Mineral
water
- Insect
repellent
- Sunscreen
- One
set of warm clothes for cool safari evenings (not for Dar) and
several light clothes for hot days
- Films
for the duration of safari
- Bed
sheets and blankets if your sleeping bag is not warm enough (safari
only)
- Pajamas
to sleep in.
