Registration
Fee
A
non-refundable Registration Fee of USD 349.00 is
required to reserve placement. This Registration Fee is due 2 weeks
from the day
we offer you placement. The Program Fees (below) are due 60
days
to
your
program starting date.

Kilimanjaro climbers can add
one aclimatization
day for USD 200.
C.
For all adventure programs, beyond the tour and beach
vacation days, the rest of the period is taken by volunteer or
internship work. Accommodation
during
all our Tanzania tours is
basic
camping or economy hotels. We can provide a
different
kind of accommodation, private safari, etc, at extra cost.
D.
Dar es
Salaam/Zanzibar to
Moshi Transport:
For clients based outside Moshi where safaris and climbing
begin, transport
between Moshi and your station and any
overnight costs are not
covered(overnights are covered for kilimanjaro climbing). On average
the return flight costs about USD 200 - 250 (return
shuttle bus fare about USD 90, to Dar and USD 180 to Zanzibar); Moshi
hotels rooms cost about
USD 40-60 for bed and breakfast.

for calculating the fees
#1. All Fees are
quoted in United States Dollar (USD).
#2.
The Language
and
culture program (LAC) is a
one week program - fees is USD
250.00.
The
LAC is offered only in
combination with other programs, except the Summer Explorer Program.
LAC is NEVER offered as a stand-alone. To find the fees
for combinations that include LAC, simply add $250 to the figure in the
table above.
#3. The
Tanzania Explorer Program
is a offered throught the year, not just in summer.
#4. The Language and Culture Program, Explorer and Beach programs are
not offered in Dar at the moment.

Arrival
Dates
Participants need
to arrive on the dates listed below or the mornings of the day after,
as programs begin the morning of the day after when orientation takes
place.
Arrival days are
always the first (1st) and third (3rd)
Wednesday of
every month. Program orientation and registration will be the day after
arrival, that is, the first and third Thursdays of every
month.
The
Fees We Charge Cover
PICK
UP from the airport; airport drop-off for teens younger than 18 only;
language and culture school where
appropriate; accommodation; program safaris and
tours; the game safaris including gate fees where
appropriate; Meals - restricted to three local home meals a
day while at home. During the work week, you will be provided breakfast
and dinner at home but you will need to buy or pack your own
lunch; Administration expenses; Program development
What
the Fees DO NOT Cover
International
travel; travel to and from project placement; airport drop off during
departure except as provided above; private in-country personal travel;
lunch and other meals
you need while away from home (except during jungle safaris); visa
application and extension fees; insurances; personal expenses such as
toiletries, leisure, bottled drinking water, soft drinks and
refreshments; local or international medical expenses; other personal
expenses; any liabilities or expenses incurred during your stay in the
country other than those clearly provided for above.
