Day
1: Arrival
and pick up from
the International Airport, and transfer
to host family home.
Day
2: Morning: registration and start of orientation.
About 2-4 hours talk. Topics covered during orientation
lecture will include the country's culture, history, customs, politics,
geography, and necessary health precautions, and various other topics,
such as the diversity of Local life.
Afternoon is free for exploring local life and getting to know
your host family.
Day
3: Overseas volunteers
and international interns leave for
project early in the morning after breakfast.
Introductions held with project staff, and the host family.
Day
3-5: International volunteer or internship work. Overseas interns and
volunteers abroad are free to explore the
surrounding
areas in their free time.
Day
5:
End international volunteer and internship work. Farewell to
the
project and first evaluation of the
program.

6-7: Wilderness Safari: (2 Days)

6: Depart from
Base in the morning.
Have Picnic
lunch en route
to game reserve, spend the afternoon and the next day on
game drives. East African is home to
thousands of wild animals including rhino, buffalo, impala, water buck,
lion, elephant, giraffe, Africa Buffalo, zebra, cheetah and leopard. It
is also seasonal home to thousands of wildebeests. Dinner and
overnight at the campsite.

7:
Game Reserve - Back to Base:
After
breakfast proceed for a game drive in pristine national parks with lots
of birds and many animal species such as elephants,
leopard, cheetah, rhino, hippo, lion, buffalo, Hyena, fox, water buck,
impala, jackal etc and various species of bats.
Depart
for Base after game
drive arriving at Base in the afternoon.

8-13 Beach Holiday

9:
Travel from
Base to
Coastal City: International
volunteers and interns travel to and from the city
will be by bus or train.
Day
10: Arrival, meet, pickup.
International volunteers and interns abroad
in Africa transfer to hotel. Ideally, accommodation will be in
a conventional hotel rooms or in
makuti (coconut palm) thatched beach rooms with conventional hotel
amenities including.
Day
11: Tour
of Coastal City.
After
breakfast international volunteers and interns abroad in Africa proceed
on a full day city tour of coastal City featuring places of historical
and cultural importance.
Breakfast,
dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day
12: Beach Relaxation.
The entire day is free for international volunteers and interns abroad
in Africa to do what they like best. Simply relax, and enjoy
the beach
at the hotel, swim in the blue waters of Indian Ocean, or take a
private excursion for wind surfing, scuba diving, water skiing,
snorkeling, deep-sea fishing or goggling.Breakfast, dinner and
overnight at your hotel.

13: Bush Tour. Early
after breakfast
international volunteers and interns abroad in Africa
start out on a
half-day “bush tour” or a tour of some "out of town
location".

14:
City Departure. After
breakfast, international volunteers
and
interns abroad in Africa
start travel back to base. Program
Evaluation.
Day
14: End of Beach Adventure Program. Departure
for
those staying for 2
weeks. Those staying longer return to host and project placement.
