on Fees:
A. For all programs
provided above, beyond the actual adventure safaris and beach
vacation days, the rest
of the period is taken by volunteer or
internship work.

The
Kenya
Wildlife Program
provides volunteer and internship placement with wild animals in Kenyan
national parks. If combined with any other program, placement will
start with the other program and end with the wildlife placement.
Participants in this program must have medical insurance and be aged
18-55.
Guidelines
to calculating the fees
#1. All Fees are
quoted in United States Dollar (USD).
#2.
The Language
and
culture program (LAC) is a
one week program - fees is USD
250.00.
The
LAC is offered only in
combination with other programs, except the Summer Explorer Program.
LAC is NEVER offered as a stand-alone. To find the fees
for combinations that include LAC, simply add $250 to the figure in the
table above.
#3. The
(Summer)
Explorer Program
is a
offered throughout the year, not just in summer.

To
get the fees for other adventure programs or for a combination
of
programs eg 3 weeks of Medical Internship with Adventure, for please email
us.
#5.
Mombasa
Beach Holiday and Beach Holiday Plus Programs,
provide
travel
to and from Mombasa, excursion tours, accommodation,
dinner, and breakfast while in Mombasa. You will cater for your lunch
throughout the trip and any meals you may need en-route to and from
Mombasa.
But
the 2-day jungle safari component of the Mombasa Beach
Plus Program provides three regular meals per day as is the case for
all jungle safari tours. on

Teenagers younger than 18 who are not accompanied by guardians pay an
extra USD 20 airport drop-off fee.
Arrival
Dates
Participants
need
to arrive on the dates listed below or the mornings of the day after,
as programs begin the morning of the day after when orientation takes
place.
Arrival
days are
always the first (1st) and third (3rd)
Wednesday of
every month. Program orientation and registration will be the day after
arrival, that is, the first and third Thursdays of every
month.
The
Kenya wildlife
Program starting dates are different and are provided
on the program page.
The
Fees We Charge Cover
PICK
UP from the airport; airport drop off for teens younger than
18
who are not accompanied by a parent/legal guardian; language and
culture school where
appropriate; accommodation; program safaris and
tours; the game safaris including gate fees where
appropriate; Meals - restricted to three local home meals a
day while at home. During the work week, you will be provided breakfast
and dinner at home but you will need to buy or pack your own
lunch; all three meals are provided under the Kenya wildlife
program; Administration expenses; Program development
What
the Fees DO NOT Cover
International
travel; travel to and from project placement; airport drop off during
departure except as stated above; private in-country personal travel;
lunch and other meals
you need while away from home (except during jungle safaris); visa
application and extension fees; insurances; personal expenses such as
toiletries, leisure, bottled drinking water, soft drinks and
refreshments; local or international medical expenses; other personal
expenses; any liabilities or expenses incurred during your stay in the
country other than those clearly provided for above.
